I've heard mixed things about Phenergan (promethazine) injections. It's used for nausea, allergies, and even sedation, but the side effects list is a bit scary. I'm curious: has anyone had severe side effects from this drug? Or is it generally safe? What should we do to monitor for issues and stay safe? Let's share our experiences and tips!

As long as you follow your doctor's orders carefully and pay attention to your body, Phenergan should be safe. It's important to not take this drug irresponsibly to avoid negative side effects.

I think Phenergan is super dangerous. I know one person who got a seizure after getting it and another person who felt dizzy and their heart rate was really high the next day. I'd rather take my chances with the nausea.

Phenergan can cause some serious side effects, but they're pretty rare. You should be fine if you talk to your doctor honestly and monitor your symptoms. If you notice anything unusual, like severe dizziness, difficulty breathing, or a rash, get medical help right away.

I had it once for nausea after surgery, and it worked like a charm. No side effects at all. But I did feel incredibly drowsy, so I slept through the rest of the day.
