I've been prescribed Propranolol 20mg/5ml Solution for my migraines, and I'm wondering if anyone else has had experience with this medication. I'm curious about the side effects, especially the more serious ones. I've read about symptoms like hallucinations, lupus symptoms, and severe skin reactions. Has anyone else had these side effects and how did you manage them? What kind of dosage were you on when you experienced them? What were your doctors' recommendations? I'm also interested in hearing about the more common side effects and if they got better over time.

I take it for my migraines too; helped a lot. I’ve noticed I get a little dizzy at times, and weird dreams are common, but nothing too bad. I did have an issue with shortness of breath early on. But it went away once my body adjusted. I just make sure to take it with food, as it can sometimes cause an upset stomach.

I had no idea propranolol could cause hallucinations. That's insane.

I've been on a different beta-blocker before, so I think I’ll be alright but I’ll definitely keep an eye out for lupus symptoms

My doctor warned me about a bunch of side effects, but this is the first time I've heard about depression or mood changes. Hopefully, it doesn't get to that point!

I've had some vivid dreams since I started taking Propranolol. At first it was weird, but now I'm kind of used to it. I've also heard that if you experience hallucinations, it's important to stop taking the medication and seek medical help right away. Hallucinations are a big red flag.

I've been on Propranolol for a few months now and haven't experienced any of the super serious side effects. The first week or two, I had some fatigue and dizziness, but that went away. I take 40mg twice a day now (but everyone's different).
