Propranolol 40mg Tablets: What are your experiences with this beta-blocker?
I was recently prescribed Propranolol 40mg Tablets for high blood pressure and migraines. I've been taking them for a few weeks now, and while I've noticed some improvement, I'm also experiencing a lot of fatigue and dizziness. Has anyone else had similar side effects? I want to know if it's something I should be worried about or if it's just part of the transition period. Also, does anyone know how long it takes for the body to fully adjust to this medication? Looking for some insights and advice from the community. Thank you!

I stopped taking it because I experienced some pretty severe side effects and it wasn’t worth it. Speak with a cardiologist and see what they say, your symptoms may be manageable.
Give it a few more weeks. Your body needs time to adjust. If it's still bad, contact your doctor.
I've been on Propranolol for a year now, and the dizziness did go away after a couple of months. Stick it out, but if it gets worse, call your doc. Good luck!
Not all beta-blockers are the same. Some people react differently to each one. Maybe talk to your doctor about adjusting the dose or trying a different one.
I had really bad dreams. Not sure if it was the meds or just stress. Either way, it wasn't fun.
I was on it for a while, had to switch because of the skin reactions. Horrible experience.
Wasn't a fan of the vivid dreams, but overall, it's been a game-changer for my migraines. Hang in there, it gets better.
