I've been prescribed Propranolol ER 160mg for my migraines. It's been a few weeks, and I've noticed some side effects like dizziness and fatigue. Has anyone else experienced these? Are there any tips to manage them? I'm also curious if anyone has had issues with erectile dysfunction as a side effect? It's been concerning me, but I'm not sure if it's related to the medication. Also, are there any long-term effects I should be aware of? From what I've read, it can help with migraines, but I just want to make sure I'm taking it safely.

I've been on Propranolol ER for a while now, and the dizziness does go away after the first few weeks. Just make sure to take it at the same time every day. As for the ED, I haven't experienced that, but it's always good to talk to your doctor about it.

Be careful with alcohol. I had a few drinks one night and felt really lightheaded the next day. It was scary.

I feel you on the fatigue. I couldn't function for the first two weeks. But it did get better. Just give it some time.

I take 80mg in the morning and 80mg at night because I can't handle the extended release. It's worked better for me this way. My doctor didn't mind switching it up like that so it might be worth a chat with your doc.

Propranolol ER helped control my migraines really well. I was skeptical at first but it's been a game-changer. I didn't have any side effects but everyone's different

I've been taking this for a year now. Dizziness and fatigue went away after a few weeks, thankfully. I didn’t experience erectile dysfunction, but if you’re concerned, you should definitely talk to your doc. They can give you the best advice, and maybe adjust the dose.

I've been on this for a few months and have had no issues. It's helped my migraines significantly. I take it in the evening so I don't have to deal with the drowsiness during the day

I wish I had known about the vivid dreams side effect before I started taking it. I thought I was losing my mind at first.

I had really vivid dreams when I first started taking it. It was kind of weird, but not terrible. The dizziness was bad at first, but I found that standing up slowly helped a lot.

I had a random rash pop up a few weeks in. I stopped taking it and it went away. I talked to my doctor and we switched to a different beta-blocker. It might have been a reaction, but worth mentioning in case it happens to anyone else.
