I recently started taking Protect Iron Liquid to boost my iron levels and overall health. The supplement contains essential vitamins and is supposed to help with anemia and vitamin deficiencies. I have been taking it for a couple of weeks now, and it's generally okay, but I've been experiencing some minor stomach issues and constipation. I'm wondering if anyone else out there has experienced more severe side effects like fever, vomiting, or black stools. The label says to watch for these, but I'd like to hear from others who might have dealt with these issues. Are these reactions unusual to experience, and what steps did you take to alleviate the symptoms? If you've had any severe reactions, did you need to seek medical attention? I'm just trying to stay informed and safe while using this supplement. Have any of you had different experiences?

I had hives and itching when I took this. It was scary because I didn't know if it was normal, my doctor said it was a rare allergic reaction. I switched to a different supplement and it's been fine. I guess everyone is different with these types of things, but Protective Iron Liquid is not for me.

I had stomach pain and diarrhea for about a week. It went away after that, but I'm still a little worried. Hopefully, it's just my body adjusting.

I took this for anemia and it worked great. It's good that you're paying attention to side effects. I'd recommend talking to your doctor if you feel that your symptoms are severe.

I've heard that taking iron supplements on an empty stomach can cause a lot of stomach issues. Try taking it with food or switching to a different time of day. Also, make sure you're drinking plenty of water.

I didn't have any side effects, but my friend did. I do know that if you are pregnant or breastfeeding you will need to consult your doctor. It's not normally seen as dangerous but you should still be cautious.

I know someone who had bad stomach pain and they thought they were going to go to the doctors. She stopped taking it and she was fine afterwards.

I've been on Protect Iron Liquid for a month, and I haven't had any issues. I've had it for years and don't have any problems with it, but everyone is different.

I've heard that taking iron supplements can turn your stool green, but nothing about black stools. Have you checked with your doctor? That should be taken seriously. That can happen when you're taking too many supplements and it can be a sign that you are having issues with your body not processing the iron right.
