Hi everyone, I've recently started taking Qinlock 50mg Tablets for my GIST treatment. I've had a tough time with other medications, and I'm hoping this one works better. I've read about the potential side effects, but I'm curious to hear about others' experiences. Has anyone here been taking Qinlock? What have your experiences been like? I'm particularly worried about the serious side effects like heart problems and blood pressure issues. Any advice or similar experiences are appreciated!

I've heard of some people having no side effects at all. It's very hit or miss with this drug, unlike other treatments I've been on. I'd say it's worth it to try it, and weigh the pros and cons with your doctor.

I had no idea Qinlock had so many side effects. I was told it was a lot safer than other drugs. Thanks for the heads up, I'll have to rethink my approach.

I've been on Qinlock for about 6 months now, and it's been a lifesaver. The side effects were tough at first—I had some hair loss and muscle pain—but they've gotten better over time. Make sure to stay hydrated and talk to your doctor about any concerns.

If you can stick it out through the first few weeks, it gets a lot easier. I've been on it for a few months and I feel stronger than I did before I started.

I had a really bad allergic reaction to Qinlock. Went to the ER with hives and swelling, so I had to stop taking it. Of course, I saw the warnings but you never think it will happen to you. My doctor has already moved me to an alternative treatment.

Be prepared for some tough days, especially in the beginning. I had a lot of stomach issues at first, but they eased up after a few weeks. Oh and the heart stuff is something to watch out for. I found it helpful to take walks and eat well to keep my health in check.

I had to take the chance because the side effects sounded bad, but I kept telling myself it was better than the alternative.
