Qnasl is a nasal spray containing beclomethasone, a corticosteroid used to reduce inflammation in the nasal passages. It is commonly prescribed to relieve symptoms of allergic rhinitis such as sneezing, runny nose, and nasal congestion. While it can be effective, it is essential to understand the potential side effects and how to use it safely. This medication is available in a 60-spray aerosol, making it a convenient option for those experiencing chronic allergy symptoms. If you are considering using Qnasl or have questions about its usage, this thread is for you. Share your experiences, ask questions, or provide tips on managing side effects.

I had nosebleeds at the beginning, but that stopped after a week. Make sure to avoid blowing your nose too hard or using it too frequently.

I got some weird side effects after starting Qnasl. Has anyone else experienced rash or hoarseness?

A humidifier in the bedroom has significantly helped my symptoms when I use it in conjunction with Qnasl. The moisture helps keep my nasal passages from drying out too much. It’s also helpful for asthma and other respiratory conditions.

I’ve been using Qnasl for a few months now and haven’t had any serious side effects. Just a bit of nose irritation at first, but it went away after a week. It has really helped with my allergies!

Has anyone tried any natural remedies along with Qnasl? I’ve heard a neti pot can help too but I haven’t really seen a lot of results yet.

I believe there can be a rebound effect from overuse. It’s more likely to happen with nasal decongestants. I can’t remember the exact term but it’s basically your nose gets dependent on vasoconstriction and fluid. I’ve not seen it with Qnasl, but I’ve seen it with other sprays. My doctor warned me about this when I was prescribed one a few years ago. I’m sure the steroid in Qnasl is different, but I just wanted to make sure you don’t think I was talking about Qnasl. You should also know that I’ve seen this with Afrin. I don’t think the two are comparable. If you are experiencing dryness then I don’t think you should worry about this

I’ve heard it’s important to clean the Qnasl nozzle regularly. Clean it with water, let it dry completely, and then you should be good to go. This helps prevent any buildup, but that’s just my opinion and I have no idea if it works.
