I've recently been prescribed Quetiapine 200mg tablets for my bipolar disorder. I'm curious to hear from others who have experience with this medication. How has it helped you, and what side effects have you experienced? I've read about some serious side effects, so I'm a bit nervous. Has anyone else dealt with these, and how did you manage them? Also, any tips on how to take the medication for best results would be greatly appreciated.

I started taking Quetiapine a few months ago, and it's been a bit of a roller coaster. The drowsiness is terrible, but I've found that taking it earlier in the day helps. It's also helped with my depression a lot, so I'm sticking with it. I have really struggled with my medication regimen over the years, but this seems to be the best balance. The other drugs I've tried were a nightmare.

I've noticed that Quetiapine really helps with my sleep. I used to struggle with insomnia, but now I sleep through the night. The weight gain has been a bit of an issue, though. I've had to adjust my diet and exercise routine to keep it in check.

You should totally pay attention to what you eat. I’ve had to cut out a lot of carbs and sugars, and it’s made a big difference. I've also started walking more, and it's helped with my mood too. Exercise is so important, I can’t believe I ever thought it wasn't worth my time.

I wish I hadn't been so nervous about the side effects. I’ve been off it awhile, so I actually kind of miss it, I guess.
