I've been prescribed Quetiapine 400mg ER Tablets for my bipolar disorder, and I have to say, it's been a game-changer. The extended-release form makes it easy to manage, and I only need to take it once a day. However, I've experienced some side effects like drowsiness and weight gain, which can be challenging. I've been trying to manage these with diet and exercise, but it's not always easy. I'm curious to hear from others who are taking this medication. What side effects have you experienced, and how have you managed them? Also, I've read about some serious side effects. Has anyone else had any issues like that, or is it just me being paranoid? I want to hear your thoughts and advice!

I was worried about the more serious side effects, but my doctor reassured me that they are rare. Still, it's good to be aware. If you experience anything unusual, definitely contact your doctor.

I've been on this med for a while and I've noticed some weight gain. Has anyone else experienced this or found any good workouts to combat it?

I started taking Quetiapine a few months ago, and I've had some trouble with constipation. Any tips on how to manage this?

I've been on Quetiapine for years, and while the side effects can be tough, the stability it brings to my bipolar disorder is worth it. I've found that staying hydrated helps with the dry mouth, and regular exercise has managed the weight gain.

Be careful with the drowsiness. I had to switch my dose time to evening because it was making me fall asleep at work. Also, keep an eye on your thyroid levels, as low thyroid can be a side effect.

Just started Quetiapine and already feeling the drowsiness. Also, has anyone else noticed expanded breast tissue? A friend of mine said he got this from his antipsychotics. It's worrying me.

I've been on Quetiapine for a while and have had some issues with dry mouth and increased appetite. I've been chewing sugarless gum to help with the dry mouth and trying to eat healthier to manage my appetite.

I've had some issues with dizziness and fainting, but my doctor adjusted my dose, and it's been better. It's definitely worth talking to your doctor about any persistent side effects.

If anyone is concerned about the changes in vision, I would recommend getting regular eye checkups. It's better to be safe.

I've noticed some flu-like symptoms, which is weird because I thought that was more common with other antipsychotics. Anyone else?
