I've been prescribed Quetiapine ER 150mg for my bipolar disorder, and I'm curious to hear from others who use this medication. It's been a game-changer for me in managing my manic episodes, but I've also experienced some side effects that I'm not sure are typical or not. My doctor explained that it balances certain chemicals in the brain, but I'm wondering what specific chemicals it targets. Has anyone else noticed significant changes in their mood or energy levels? I'd love to hear from both short and long-term users about their experiences. I'm also interested in learning about any unusual side effects that may not be listed in the initial description.

I've been on Quetiapine ER for about six months now, and it's helped immensely with my depression symptoms. However, the weight gain has been a real challenge. I've gained almost 20 pounds, and it's been tough to manage. Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, what helped?

I've had some muscle twitching and trouble swallowing at times. Not sure if it's related, but it's pretty scary when it happens. I've been doing my best to keep an eye on what might be making it worse, but I'm not sure if it is the medication.

Quetiapine works for me, but it's taken some time to find the right dose. I started at 50mg and worked my way up. Now I'm stable on 150mg, and it's been a real improvement. It helps manage both mania and depression, which is great since I experience both.

Quetiapine ER has been a lifeline for me. But I try to take it at night because the drowsiness is so bad. I wake up feeling sort of groggy in the morning.
