I was prescribed Quinine Sulfate 324mg Capsules for malaria treatment recently, which was a scary experience! I had no idea the side effects could be so severe. I took the medication exactly as prescribed by my doctor, but the ringing in my ears and dizziness were absolutely overwhelming. I hope my experience can help others. I wish I had known to ask more questions about the potential side effects during my consultation! Quinine has been used for centuries to treat malaria, and it is effective, but the side effects can be debilitating and even life-threatening. What's your experience? What did your doctors tell you? Let’s share our stories and warnings!

I took Quinine once and had severe ringing in the ears. It was so bad I couldn't sleep. Fortunately, it went away after I stopped the medication. It was scary, though

I think it's crazy that some doctors still prescribe Quinine when there are other antimalarials with fewer side effects available. Have any of you had bad experiences with other malaria medications?

My friend had some really scary side effects when she was taking Quinine in South Africa. She ended up in the hospital with hallucinations and seizures. The doctors switched her to a different antimalarial immediately.

TIP: Always keep an eye out for any changes in your hearing or vision while on Quinine. Don't ignore it, as they can be signs of serious issues. It can save you a lot of trouble.
