I've been prescribed Rabeprazole DR 20mg Tablets for my acid reflux and heartburn. I've heard mixed reviews about its effectiveness and side effects. Has anyone else tried this medication? How well does it work for you? What side effects did you experience? I'm also curious about long-term use—do the benefits outweigh the potential risks? Has anyone developed dependence on this medication over time? I'd appreciate any insights, personal experiences, or medical advice you can share. Thanks!

I've been taking this for a couple of days and am experiencing muscle pain, cramps, and weakness. Should I be worried about this? Thanks!

I've been on rabeprazole for a while and it's helped with my heartburn, but I've also been dealing with some weight loss and severe tiredness. I've been ignoring it, but I think I should talk to my doctor about it. Has anyone else experienced anything similar?

I've been on PPIs for years and been fine. My doctor always says to take it when I need it, I've learned to just keep it in my cabinet for when I know I'm going to have issues, like right before Thanksgiving or something. It's great to have on hand, but I wouldn't want to take it every day. The side effects can get annoying so I just try to manage my diet and stress and only use it when needed.

Long-term use of PPIs has been linked to some serious side effects, including kidney problems and bone fractures. It's important to weigh the benefits against the risks and talk to your doctor about your concerns. I've been on Rabeprazole for a while and it's helped with my heartburn, but I'm definitely going to bring up my concerns with my doctor at my next appointment.
