I've been taking Raloxifene 60mg Tablets for about a year now to manage my postmenopausal osteoporosis and reduce breast cancer risk. Initially, I was nervous about the side effects, especially the potential for blood clots. But my doctor assured me that the benefits outweighed the risks in my case. I've had some hot flashes and leg cramps, but nothing too severe. Just curious, how has Raloxifene worked for others, and what side effects have you experienced? Has anyone had to stop taking it due to side effects? I'm also interested in how others are managing any side effects they've experienced.

This conversation is making me wonder, has anyone looked into combining Raloxifene with other treatments to improve bone health? I'm curious about potential synergistic effects or additional risks. I think it could be the next best thing, but I am not convinced. I have some concerns.

So, how does this compare to other osteoporosis treatments like bisphosphonates? I've heard horror stories about the side effects of those.

The leg cramps are real. I've had to start doing some light stretching before bed to help with that. Also, I've noticed some joint pain, but it's manageable.

I take mine with food to avoid upset stomach. That seems to help a lot, and I take it in the morning. I recommend that to everyone.

I've been on Raloxifene for a year and have had no issues at all. Knock on wood! I hope it stays that way. I've heard that some people have trouble sleeping, but I haven't experienced that. I do a good rest.

Raloxifene saved my life. My mother had horrible osteoporosis and I was at risk. I had no idea it could also reduce my risk for breast cancer. I'm grateful for this medication every day. Tumor markers are also under control.

I've been taking Raloxifene for about 3 years now. It's made a world of difference in managing my osteoporosis, but I have had a few issues. First, I had some bad hot flashes initially, but they've subsided over time. Other than that, I've noticed some excessive sweating & weight gain. It's not ideal, but the benefits for my bone health have been significant. Definitely worth talking to a doctor if you're considering it.

I stopped taking Raloxifene after a few months because the hot flashes were unbearable. Has anyone else had issues with this and figured out how to manage it? I had to consult with a friend medical professional to switch to a different treatment. Closer now, I am feeling better but my bones are not so great.
