I recently started taking Rapaflo 4mg Capsules for Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH), and while it has helped with some of the symptoms, I've also experienced some side effects. Has anyone else had issues with severe dizziness or fainting? I'd love to hear from others who have been on this medication. How did you cope with the side effects? Did your doctor provide any advice that helped?

I was going through a hard time when I was diagnosed with BPH. Rapaflo has been a game-changer for me. I had some side effects like dizziness but nothing that made me discontinue the medication. I've always found it helpful to call a doctor or seek immediate medical attention when having severe side effects. I think that's the best advice for anyone on this medication.

I'm a doctor, and I can confirm that while dizziness is common, it's usually mild and goes away after a few days. If it persists, contact your healthcare provider. And yes, reducing sodium intake and keeping hydrated can help mitigate this symptom.

I started taking Rapaflo a few weeks ago and have noticed some unusual symptoms. My urine flow has improved, but I've had some severe dizziness. I didn't even know this, but you can report side effects to the FDA at 1-800-332-1088 or online at https://www.fda.gov/medwatch. Has anyone else done this?

I've been on Rapaflo for about 6 months now, and while it has improved my symptoms, the side effects were initially quite bothersome. I experienced some dizziness and fainting, especially when I stood up suddenly. I made sure to get up slowly and my doctor suggested a low-sodium diet and increased water intake. It really helped a lot. I wish I knew these tips earlier on, would have saved me some trouble.
