I started taking Rapamune 1mg tablets after my kidney transplant, and it's been a game-changer. My body hasn't rejected the new kidney, but I'm experiencing some side effects like dizziness and digestive issues. I'm curious if anyone else has had these symptoms. Also, I've heard it's used for a rare lung disease called LAM—has anyone here taken it for that reason? If so, what's your experience been like?

My doctor warned me about the side effects but I've been lucky. Just try to relax and remember that it's there to save your life. Sleeping and good food has really helped me

I've had no major issues with Rapamune. I do get a mild headache but nothing major. I have a family friend who is also taking it for a transplant and she has had some issues. It's kind of hit or miss, I guess.

I take Rapamune for LAM, and it's been a lifesaver. I've had some lung problems but nothing too severe. Just make sure to report any breathing difficulties to your doctor right away. Stay strong!

I've been on Rapamune for about 6 months now after my kidney transplant. The side effects have been tough, especially the headaches and mouth sores. But overall, it's been worth it. My new kidney is functioning well, and my doctor says my immune system is stable. Keep the faith, it gets better!

The worst part for me are the mouth sores. I've switched to a toothpaste for sensitive teeth and it's helped a lot.

I feel you on the dizziness and stomach issues, I had a lot of muscle cramps. It's a rough road but try to stay positive

I've heard horror stories, but my experience has been a lot better. I've had some minor headaches but nothing major. A friend of mine had a lot of stomach issues when she went on it so I've been a little anxious about that but luckily been okay

I've been on it for almost a year and while I've experienced a few side effects, they've been manageable. Just make sure you keep an eye on any signs of infection. Also, I've found that staying hydrated and a good diet have really helped with the stomach issues.
