My mother has been prescribed Razadyne (formerly Reminyl) 12mg tablets for her mild Alzheimer's disease. The medication aims to enhance memory and cognition by boosting acetylcholine levels in the brain. However, I am concerned about the potential side effects, especially the serious ones. Has anyone else had personal experience with this medication? What should I watch out for? Are there any non-medical interventions or lifestyle changes that can be made to help improve her condition?

Seems like everyone's experience is different. Just stay vigilant with the side effects and work closely with the doctors. Good luck to you and your mom!

Has anyone tried any other medications or therapies alongside Razadyne? I've heard good things about cognitive training programs.

I'm sorry to hear about your mother. It's a challenging journey, but staying informed and proactive can make a big difference. I had to take my mum off the medications once the side effects became too much, it was a tough call but she responded better to non-medication therapies instead.

Rash, hives and breathing problems are no laughing matter. Rare but serious symptoms can happen, so keep an eye out for them. If in doubt, get medical help!
