I've been dealing with hemorrhoids for a while now, and my doctor recommended Recticare 5% Cream. I've read about the numbing effects of lidocaine and how it can help with pain and itching, but I'm a bit worried about the side effects. Has anyone tried this cream before? I'd love to hear about your experiences, both good and bad. Are the side effects as serious as they sound, or is it generally safe to use?

I used it once and it was like a miracle. I didn't feel any pain or itching for hours. It felt like I had a little numbing cream at home. It was worth trying even though it was a bit pricey.

I used it for a couple of days, and it helped a lot with the pain, but I noticed some redness and swelling around the application area. I stopped using it to see if it would go away. It was a bit annoying, but I guess it's a common side effect from what I've read online. I didn't go to the doctor but it went away quickly.

Make sure you talk to your doctor before using Recticare. I tried it without consulting anyone and ended up with a lot of discomfort. I feel like a lot of people miss this step and they could avoid side effects. I would recommend it if you're in a lot of pain and need immediate relief, but be cautious and follow the instructions carefully.

I've heard some scary stories about Recticare, but I've also heard great things. I think it really depends on the individual. If you're considering using it, I would recommend talking to your doctor first and being aware of the possible side effects. I don't think it's too bad of a solution to try.
