Has anyone here tried Repatha as their cholesterol treatment? I'm considering it but I'm nervous about the potential autoimmune side effects. I have struggled with my cholesterol levels despite diet and exercise. I think I would like to try it, but I’m worried about the possible complications or side effects. I'm hoping to see some real stories rather than just the official material — especially the rare side effects. Obviously I'll talk to my doctor but I want to see if there are more stories out there. How easy is it to actually inject? Is the nursing support good?

I've been on Repatha for about 6 months now, and it's been a game-changer for my cholesterol levels. The injections are pretty easy once you get the hang of it. I had incisions for injections and they went away and it didn't leave any marks, but some friends of mine have had some irritation. My doctor gave me this kind of numbing spray that helps. The only real downside is it is pricey and the insurance is still giving me a hard time. Overall, it's worth it though.

Repatha has been a lifesaver for me. I have a genetic condition that causes extremely high cholesterol, and nothing else worked. I was really worried about the autoimmune side effects, but I've had none. The worst thing is the injection site can get really itchy and sometimes red. It's weird but it usually goes away. Take some Benadryl and put some ice on it for a few minutes.

I had a bad reaction and got hives right away. It's scary how quickly it happened. My face swelled up and I had trouble breathing even though my doctor said a reaction prob wasn't possible. I had to go to hospital and get a shot. I'd be cautious but everyone is different.

I was really nervous about injecting myself, but the auto-injector makes it so much easier. I read about people who were scared but I'm glad I gave it a try. I haven't had any issues except for some minor bruising at the injection site. I worried about that before but it's not bad at all.

I wish more people would talk about the actual process so I know what to expect. The needle isn't that big on mine, but I know the nurse says they have to get the dosage even and I can't miss any doses so I really need to do it right. Any tips?

Has anyone else experienced flu-like symptoms? I've had them on and off for the past few weeks. I'm not sure if it's related to Repatha or just a coincidence. It feels like my whole body hurts and my forehead is completely red.
