I've been taking Requip XL 6mg for about six months now to manage my Parkinson's symptoms. It's been a game-changer in terms of controlling my movements, but I've also experienced some side effects that I want to share and discuss. The extended-release feature is great, as I only need to take it once a day, but I've had some issues with sleepiness and dizziness. Has anyone else had similar experiences? I'd love to hear about your journeys and any tips you might have for managing these side effects. Also, has anyone experienced any of the more serious side effects listed? Let's share our knowledge and support each other.

It's funny how it affects everyone differently. My friend took it and had no issues, but I was a mess. Just goes to show you never know until you try.

This drug has been a lifesaver for me. I used to have such bad tremors, but now they're much more controlled. I haven't had any side effects that I can't handle. We all respond differently, so don't lose hope if it's not working out for you right now.

I wish they'd come up with something better. The side effects are just too much for me. But I get that it works for some people. Just wish there was more variety in treatment options.

I've been on Requip XL for a year and have had some sleepiness issues too. I switched from evening to morning and it helped a lot. Always consult your doctor before making changes, though! #Dont drive when drowsy!

Seriously, if you experience sudden sleepiness, do not ignore it. It's not worth the risk. I had a friend who fell asleep at the wheel because of this stuff. Scary stuff.

I’ve been on Requip XL for about three months, and honestly, it's been a mixed bag. The tremors are better, but the stomach issues are awful. Anyone have any tips for dealing with that?

I had some strange urges when I first started. Like, I wanted to eat everything in sight! It was weird. But it went away after a few weeks. Just something to be aware of.

Just started Requip XL and already feeling some dizziness. Hoping it goes away soon. Anyone else have this as an initial side effect?

I haven't had any major side effects, but I did notice some increased sweating. Doctor suggested I stay hydrated and it's not so bad now. To the OP, if the dizziness is concerning, talk to your neurologist about it.
