I've been using Restasis 0.05% Ophthalmic Emulsion Single Use for about two months now, and I've seen a significant improvement in my chronic dry eye symptoms. The burning and stinging have decreased, and my eyes feel more comfortable overall. However, I've had some eye irritation and redness, which I'm hoping will go away with continued use. Has anyone else experienced similar side effects, and if so, how long did they last? Additionally, I'm curious about the possibility of allergic reactions. My doctor told me about the signs to look out for, but I've heard some horror stories online that have me a bit worried.

I've had Restasis a while. It is worth it. I had burning and irritation when I started to use it. It went away. Just make sure that you keep the drops sterile by keeping the tip of the bottle clean and unopened until you use it each time.

I've been using Restasis for a while now, and it's been a game-changer for me. No more constant burning, and the redness has gone down. Stick with it—it takes a few months to really see the benefits!

Seriously, if you experience any signs of an allergic reaction, go to the ER immediately. It's not worth the risk. I had a friend who had a bad reaction and it was scary.

I had some initial irritation too, but it went away after about a month. Just make sure to use it consistently and follow the instructions carefully. My doctor told me to make sure not to let the tip touch anything since it's single-use, and that the preservative free drops are the safest option.
