I recently started using Retin-A 0.05% Cream to treat my acne and improve my skin texture. So far, I've noticed some improvements, but the initial process was brutal, with burning, peeling, and redness. My dermatologist assured me this is normal, but I'm curious if anyone else experienced something similar. Any tips on how to get through the initial phase? Also, how long did it take to see real results? I've read about the potential side effects, but I'm wondering if anyone had any severe reactions that they wish they had known about. Or is everyone on here loving their results so far?

I was skeptical about using Retin-A at first, but it's been a game-changer. The first few weeks were tough, but the results are amazing. My acne is almost gone, and my skin looks so much better. Just be prepared for the initial irritation—it's worth it in the end.

I've been on Retin-A for a few months and it's been great so far. No severe side effects, just a bit of dryness initially. I've seen a noticeable reduction in acne and my skin feels smoother. Just remember, everyone's skin is different. If you have any concerns, definitely talk to your doctor.

I’ve been using Retin-A for about six months now, and I can confirm that the initial phase is tough. I had a lot of dryness, peeling, and redness, just like you. But sticking it out was worth it—the acne cleared up and my skin looks so much smoother. The trick for me was to start with a pea-sized amount every other night and gradually increase usage. Also, using a good moisturizer really helped. Hang in there, it gets better!

Drink lots of water and use a good sunscreen, and you’ll be fine.
