I've been prescribed Rezzayo 200mg Sdv Inj for a severe yeast infection. The doctor said it attacks the fungal cell wall, causing the cells to break open and die. I'm wondering if anyone else has used this for a similar condition and what their experience was like. Specifically, I want to know about the side effects and how they managed them. I've heard that infusion reactions can be pretty rough, so any tips on handling those would be greatly appreciated. Looking forward to hearing from anyone who has gone through this treatment.

I made the mistake of not being careful about monitoring my electrolytes. I ended up with some weird muscle cramps and confusion. Definitely keep an eye on those symptoms and talk to your doctor if you notice anything.

I had Rezzayo for a similar infection post stem cell transplant. The infusion reactions were intense. I remember getting flushing and some chest tightness. Doctors said it was an infusion reaction, and it typically resolves within a month. It was tough, but manageable with the right support.

I was so scared of the side effects, but I only got a bit of stomach pain and some vomiting, nothing too bad. Of course, everyone is different, so it’s best to be prepared for the worst.

I've had an allergic reaction to other medications before, so I was really scared about using Rezzayo. But I monitored myself closely for symptoms like rash, itching, and difficulty breathing. I didn't have any issues, thankfully. But I'll say, the side effects list is pretty scary.

Has anyone experienced severe nausea with Rezzayo? I'm on round two of this treatment and the nausea is so bad I’m struggling to eat anything. I’m not sure if that’s normal or something to worry about.
