Hello everyone, I've recently started taking Rinvoq 15mg ER Tablets for my rheumatoid arthritis, and I wanted to share some of my experience and gather some thoughts on this medication. Rinvoq is designed for autoimmune diseases like rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, atopic dermatitis, ulcerative colitis, and Crohn's disease. It works by blocking specific signals in your body that cause inflammation and damage. It's an extended-release tablet, which means it releases the medicine slowly over time, so you only need to take it once a day.

the medication has been a bit of a rollercoaster. On one hand, it seems to be helping with the inflammation, but I've also experienced some side effects. I've had some common cold symptoms, and I had an upset stomach for the first couple of days but that subsided. I’ve also been experiencing headaches, but I’m not sure if it's from the medication or stress. But I’m dreading the potential for serious side effects, like allergic reactions or liver problems. I know it’s a trade-off, but I’m curious about how others are managing the side effects. Does anyone have any tips on how to cope with these minor side effects? Any advice on monitoring for the more serious ones? I’ve read the possible side effects listed, and it’s a bit overwhelming. Has anyone experienced anything unexpected? Thanks for any input or support you can offer!

Seriously, though, who else is super excited to take a pill that might cause liver problems or shingles? Not me. I'm actually thinking of switching to a different medication.

I'm on Rinvoq for Crohn's, and it’s been a miracle drug! I had a bit of an adjustment period, but it's really improved my quality of life. It's always important to weigh the pros and cons with your doctor. But my experience has been overwhelmingly positive.

My sister had a severe infection while on Rinvoq. She now takes methotrexate. So I’d be really careful and keep a close eye on any signs of infection. Let your doctor know immediately if anything seems off. It’s always better to be safe.

I just started Rinvoq a few weeks ago. I'm seeing some improvement, but I'm also paranoid about the serious side effects. I've read that the risk is pretty low, but it's still scary. I have a question for anyone who might know: can anyone share their experience about how they monitored and managed these risks? Any tips on handling the anxiety around potential side effects?

Headaches are a known side effect, but they should ease up with time. If they persist, your doctor might be able to adjust the dosage. This medication has been life-changing for me. I lived with constant pain and inflammation for years, but Rinvoq has been a game-changer.

I've been on Rinvoq for about three months now. The headaches and upset stomach subsided after the first few weeks. Also, my rheumatologist recommended taking it with a light snack in the evening, which helped with the stomach issues. Just make sure to stay hydrated and listen to your body. If something doesn't feel right, it's always better to check with your doctor.
