Risamine Ointment: Has anyone experienced any of these side effects?
I just started using Risamine Ointment for some minor skin irritation, and I'm wondering if anyone else has used it and experienced any side effects. The list on the package is pretty long, and I'm a bit concerned. I'm looking for some personal experiences or advice on what to do if things get worse. Has anyone had any issues with the menthol or zinc oxide in it? I've heard mixed things about it, and I’m not exactly sure how to tell if I’m having a reaction or not. It seems to be helping, but I can’t shake the feeling of uneasiness.

I used it for my baby’s diaper rash and it worked like a charm. No side effects at all.
I love this stuff for chafing. It was a game changer during my last marathon. I had to rub some Vaseline in on my friends though, or they wouldn’t shut up about the smell.
I use it for muscle pain and it's okay. It doesn’t irritate my skin, but the smell is a bit strong. Has anyone tried using less than the recommended amount? I find that to be a bit too much
Severe allergic reaction? Like, not even worth it. What did you do wrong?
I got a weird rash after using it. I figured it was an allergic reaction and stopped using it. My doctor said it was probably the menthol. Have you tried other creams?
I find the menthol cooling sensation really helpful for sunburns, though I'm not sure it's meant for that. Anyone know if it's safe?
I’m a pharmacist, and I recommend skipping this and going for Aquaphor. So much gentler and it does the job just as well.
Hmm, I went to the doc and he said the swelling in my face was an allergic reaction. My friend suggested this cream. I’m glad I didn’t try it and had it checked out. Be careful!
I think the menthol can sometimes cause more irritation than it relieves. Might be worth trying something else.
