Rivastigmine 3mg Capsules are a widely prescribed medication for those dealing with mild to moderate Alzheimer's disease and dementia associated with Parkinson's disease. The medication boosts acetylcholine levels in the brain, which improves memory and cognitive functions. However, like any drug, it comes with a range of potential side effects, some of which can be life-threatening. This thread is to discuss the side effects and benefits everyone should be aware of before starting this medication. How have your experiences been with Rivastigmine? Do you have an advice for new users?

I started taking Rivastigmine a few weeks ago and have noticed some nausea and dizziness, but it's manageable. Fingers crossed it stays that way!

I'm glad this thread exists. It's important to share experiences and know we're not alone in this journey. Thanks, everyone, for sharing your stories.

Sidebar: I’m pretty sure I heard Rivastigmine can cause skin irritation. Crazy right? Have any of you experienced similar reactions?

I've been on Rivastigmine for a few months, and it's been a game-changer for my mom's memory and daily activities, but she has experienced some side effects like stomach pain and dizziness. We're managing them with the help of her doctor.

Please be aware! Side effects are no joke, even if the benefits are great. I had to stop using Rivastigmine because of severe hallucinations. It was frightening.

My dad has been on Rivastigmine for a year now. The doctor said the benefits are noticeable, but we have to keep an eye on side effects. We check in regularly with his neurologist to monitor his progress and any issues. I highly recommend doing the same for others.

This medication is a lifesaver for my loved one. While we have to monitor side effects, the improvement in mental clarity and daily functioning is worth it.

Make sure to watch out for signs of an allergic reaction. My aunt had a severe reaction and had to be hospitalized. Scared the living daylights out of us. Thank God she's okay now.

I had to switch from Rivastigmine to another medication because I had severe trouble controlling body movements. It was scary, but I'm feeling much better on the new treatment.

I've heard some of the side effects can be severe, especially if you don't catch them early. Has anyone had a difficult time dealing with side effects that progressed? let me know how to prevent that.
