I started using the Rivastigmine 4.6mg/24h Patch for my grandma's Alzheimer's last month. She seems a bit more stable, but I'm curious about others' experiences and any tips for managing side effects. Has anyone else had good/ bad experiences with this medication? I've heard about some nasty side effects and would love to know more. The patch has to be changed daily. Does the dosing frequency work well for anyone else?

I've been using the patch for a few weeks now, and I haven't noticed any significant side effects. It's actually been pretty easy to use, and I think it's helping. If you're noticing any side effects, talk to your doctor and get them checked out. Don't try homeopathy as a substitute.

Isn't it weird how it works by increasing acetylcholine? I remember learning about that in biology class.

I've been using the patch for a while, and it's been really helpful. Just keep an eye out for any skin irritation or other side effects.

I've had some trouble with dizziness and fainting, but my doctor said it's a rare side effect and I should keep using the patch. If you're experiencing anything unusual, make sure you talk to your doctor and they should eliminate any other possibilities. Your doctor should be your final stop to check for any side effects.

My grandma had trouble controlling her body movements. Her doctors said it's a serious side effect of the medication, so we stopped using it right away.

My dad had some serious side effects like confusion and hallucinations. It was really scary. We ended up having to switch to a different medication. I would recommend if you notice any severe side effects, consult your doctor as soon as possible. That is exactly why I got an alert system on the patch: just in case. If you have trouble sleeping or dizziness as a side effect, it might be worth consulting a professional.
