Ropinirole 0.25mg Tablets: Does anyone else experience extreme sleepiness and confusion?
I was prescribed Ropinirole 0.25mg Tablets for my Restless Legs Syndrome. I've been on them for a couple of weeks now, and I'm experiencing extreme sleepiness and some confusion. I've read about these side effects online, but I'd love to hear from others who have had similar experiences. Has anyone else dealt with these symptoms, and how did you manage them? Have you found any tips to mitigate these side effects? Or is this normal and I should just stick it out?

I had for sure hallucinations! Lots of confusion. Not sure why they don’t warn people more about this! So real, I was scared. My doctor put me on a different med. No more hallucinations.
Same here. The sleepiness was so bad I couldn't stay awake. I woke up at 11am and I felt like I had a hangover 100% of the time.
I’ve never heard of these side effects. I’m on the same med and never had any problem. Maybe it's just you?
I think you need to cut your dose in half. Sounds like you might be overdosing.
Sleepiness is a known side effect. My doctor recommended taking my dose at night to make sure I didn't have those symptoms during the day. Haven't had any trouble since here,
I felt the same way when I first started taking Ropinirole. It took about a month, but the side effects got better over time. Be patient and always talk to your doctor if these side effects are too much to handle.
