I started taking Ropinirole ER 4mg Tablets a few months ago, and I've seen a noticeable improvement in my Parkinson's symptoms. The extended-release form has been a game-changer for me, as it helps control my tremors and stiffness throughout the day. However, I've also experienced some side effects, and I'm curious to hear from others who are on this medication. I've had some dizziness and drowsiness, but nothing too severe. I'm just glad I don't have to worry about taking multiple doses during the day. Has anyone else had a similar experience? Or maybe some tips on how to manage the side effects?

I have a friend who was on this medication and experienced some really bad hallucinations. It was pretty scary for him, and he had to switch to something else. Just a heads up to be aware of that potential side effect.

I started on a lower dose and gradually increased to 4mg. It seems to work well for me. Just be aware of the potential for sudden sleepiness, it can be scary if it hits you while you're driving or doing something active. Always good to keep that in mind.

There are just too many side effects for me to consider, so I haven't started yet. Is the extended-release version worth it?

I'm really glad I found this thread. I've been considering this medication, and it's great to hear from others who have taken it. It sounds like there are significant benefits, but also some serious side effects to watch out for. Thanks, everyone, for sharing your experiences!

I've heard of these uncontrollable urges before. It's a known side effect, and it’s not uncommon. If it's affecting your daily life, it’s definitely worth talking to your doctor about adjusting the dosage or switching meds.

The sudden sleepiness can be really dangerous. I experienced it a few times in the first couple of months and ended up switching to a different time of day to take it. It worked for me, but everyone's different so good to share. Just be careful out there.

I've been on Ropinirole for a while now, and I can definitely agree with you on the side effects. I've experienced dizziness and drowsiness too, but honestly, it's a small price to pay for the relief from the tremors. Just remember to take it at the same time every day to keep the levels consistent.
