Retrovir saved my life, literally. I was in a really bad shape when I started taking it. Don't underestimate its power to help people with HIV. Just be vigilant with the side effects.
I've been on Retrovir for a while and I can tell you, the severe side effects are rare but they are scary. I had some mild upset stomach and headaches at first but nothing too bad. Make sure to keep in touch with your doctor and report any unusual symptoms right away.
