I started taking Sanctura XR 60mg Capsules a few weeks ago for my overactive bladder and it's been a rollercoaster. The first week was rough. I felt like I was in a daze, and it was hard to focus on anything much less driving safely. Plus, I didn’t sweat at all during my workout and that was a bit scary. It got better after that, but I’m still nervous about the potential serious side effects. I want to hear about other people’s experiences with this medication. Did you have similar issues? Was it worth the trade-off for you? Additionally, are there any alternative medications or treatments out there that are less risky but equally effective?

Be careful, people! I had a friend who ended up in the ER with severe allergic reactions. It's not worth risking your life for a bit less bladder trouble. Talk to your doctor about other options and get their input.

I've heard of people sweating during their sleep when they get hot. Is the lack of sweating a general side effect?

Has anyone tried any natural remedies or lifestyle changes before going on meds? I’m reluctant to start any new medication after reading about all these potential risks.

I feel like doctors are way too quick to prescribe these things without fully explaining the risks. Always good to read up and do your own research before making any decisions. And ask questions of your doctor!

I can't believe some of these side effects. No way I'd risk it. I'd rather deal with a few leaks than end up in the hospital. Has anyone tried physical therapy or bladder training?

I switched to a different medication after experiencing confusion and hallucinations. Scariest thing ever. My doctor recommended a different pill that works just as well without the crazy side effects. Everyone’s different, so find what works best for you.

I had a bad reaction to Sanctura XR but my doctor switched me to another med and I'm doing much better. Don't give up if you have issues—there are other options out there.

I've been on Sanctura XR for months and haven’t had any major issues. Just some dry mouth and headaches, but nothing I can’t deal with. It’s definitely helped with the urgency and accidents. Worth a shot if you’re desperate.
