Savella 50mg Tablets: My Journey with Milnacipran for Fibromyalgia
I was recently prescribed Savella 50mg Tablets (Milnacipran) to manage my fibromyalgia. This medication has been a game-changer for me, reducing the widespread pain and tenderness that I've been experiencing. It works by affecting serotonin and norepinephrine, which are involved in pain signaling, and it's not an opioid pain reliever. However, I've also noticed some side effects that I'm not sure if others experience as well. Has anyone else had issues with hot flashes, excessive sweating, or trouble sleeping? I'm curious to hear about other people's experiences and if there are any tips to manage these side effects more effectively.

Be careful with the eye problems. My doc recommended an eye exam before starting, and I'm glad I did. Always good to stay on top of that stuff.
I'm just glad to have found something that works. I was getting so frustrated with the constant pain. Good luck to everyone on this journey!
I switched to Savella after trying a bunch of other meds, and it's been the best so far. I didn't have any of the more serious side effects but experienced some dizziness at first. Maybe it will get better for you too.
I've had trouble with constipation and an upset stomach. My doc suggested increasing my fiber intake and staying hydrated. It helped a lot!
