My son had diarrhea, but it was mild. Just keep hydrating and it should pass. If it gets really bad, then you might want to call the doctor.
I've given this to my kid a few times and never had any issues. Just keep an eye on her and if something seems off, call the doctor.
I had a bad reaction to this once—got a rash and swollen lips. Scary stuff. If you see anything like that, get to the ER.
The side effects sound scary, but they are rare. My doctor told me to watch for the serious ones and not to worry too much about the common ones like diarrhea or vomiting. Kids can handle more than we think sometimes.
