I was recently prescribed Cubicin 500mg Inj for a severe skin infection, and I've been experiencing some pretty intense side effects. I've had muscle aches, trouble sleeping, and even some weird tingling sensations. I'm wondering if anyone else has had similar experiences or if I should be worried about something more serious. My doctor mentioned that it's rare, but the more I look at the side effects, the more worried I get. I'm trying to manage them, but it's been tough. Has anyone else had issues with this drug, and if so how did you handle it?

Wow, that sounds rough. I had Cubicin a while back and didn't have any major issues, but I did get some headaches and excessive sweating. It wasn't fun, but it was manageable. Hang in there!

Man, this is why I hate antibiotics. I’ve had issues with this med before, always feels like a gamble. You should seriously consider switching medicines if you’re having trouble. If you have to be on it then just hydrate well and hope the infection clears.

I know the side effects are scary, but cubicin can be a miracle drug for people with serious infections. Just do what I did, keep an eye on the symptoms and call your doctor if it gets worse. Maybe they can change the medication to a pill form or another antibiotic.

I've never had side effects from this drug. Maybe you should talk to your doctor about switching to something else.

You should be able to get a better diagnosis if you report to the FDA. They can tell you how to get the best treatment or alternative.

I used it once and it was the worst. I went to the hospital with a fever, coughing, and chills. They were able to treat the side effects fairly quickly. But yeah, call the doctor, man. Those are not good symptoms!

I had a severe allergic reaction to Cubicin. Rash, itching, the works. I had to stop taking it immediately. It's scary stuff, so definitely monitor your symptoms closely.
