I've been prescribed Heparin Sod 5,000u/ml Inj, 10ml to prevent blood clots, and the list of side effects is a bit alarming. Has anyone else experienced any of these side effects? I'm on heparin too, and I agree with the previous comment about rotating injection sites. Also, make sure to apply a bit of pressure after injecting to minimize bruising. Good luck!
I had a friend who had to stop taking heparin because of severe headaches. It's not worth risking your health. Talk to your doctor about alternatives if you're experiencing any of these side effects.
