I've been prescribed Heparin Sod 5,000u/ml Inj, 10ml to prevent blood clots, and the list of side effects is a bit alarming. Has anyone else experienced any of these side effects? I'm particularly worried about the urgent ones like allergic reactions and neurological symptoms. Any advice or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated.

I've been reading up on it, and it seems like a lot of people have different experiences with this medication. Some people have no issues at all, while others have some pretty serious side effects. It's a bit overwhelming, and I'd love to hear from people who have been through this before.

Additionally, I'd like to know if there are any tips for managing the side effects or making the injections easier. Any input is welcome!

Thanks in advance for your help!

I'm on heparin too, and I agree with the previous comment about rotating injection sites. Also, make sure to apply a bit of pressure after injecting to minimize bruising. Good luck!

I had a friend who had to stop taking heparin because of severe headaches. It's not worth risking your health. Talk to your doctor about alternatives if you're experiencing any of these side effects.

I've been on heparin for a few months now, and honestly, it's not as bad as it sounds. I had some minor bruising at the injection site, but nothing too serious. Just make sure to rotate your injection sites and keep an eye out for any unusual symptoms.

I had a few bouts of dizziness, but it went away after a while. I think it's just your body getting used to the medication. Don't panic if you experience something minor. But if it's severe, definitely see a doctor.

I think the key is to stay in close contact with your doctor. They can monitor your blood levels and adjust the dosage if needed. Don't wait if you start feeling weird.

For what it's worth, some people have no side effects at all. I didn't have any issues, but I know everyone is different. Just stay safe out there and keep an eye on things.

Be careful with this stuff. My grandma had a really bad reaction to it. She started bleeding from her gums and had these huge bruises everywhere. Scary stuff.

I've heard that some people experience burning sensations. If that happens, try applying a warm compress to the area. It helped me a lot.
