Se-Natal 19 Chewable Tablets: Has anyone else experienced severe side effects?
I recently started taking Se-Natal 19 Chewable Tablets as recommended by my doctor. I'm 8 weeks pregnant and wanted to make sure I'm getting all the necessary nutrients. However, I've been experiencing some pretty bad stomach pain and constipation. I'm wondering if anyone else has had similar issues or if there are any tips to mitigate these side effects. Also, I'm curious about the more serious side effects mentioned in the leaflet—has anyone encountered anything like that? I really want to make sure I'm doing everything right for my baby's health, so any input would be appreciated!

If you're really struggling, ask your doctor about different brands or formulas. There are plenty of options out there!
I tried everything to avoid constipation—prunes, Metamucil, and lots of water—but it was still tough. Just hang in there; it should get better as your body adjusts.
I had some heartburn too. Tums helped a lot. Maybe give that a try?
I had some minor constipation with Se-Natal 19 but nothing too bad. Try increasing your fiber intake and drinking plenty of water. It should help!
I switched to a different brand of prenatal vitamins because the stomach pain was unbearable. Maybe talk to your doctor about alternatives?
I think it's great that you're being proactive about your health and your baby's. Just keep an eye on those serious side effects and talk to your doctor if you're worried.
I had to stop taking them because of the black stools. Turns out it was just the iron, but it freaked me out. Stick with what works for you!
I had some green stools, which was a bit alarming at first, but my doctor said it was just the iron. No big deal!
