Seroquel 50mg Tablets: My Experience with Quetiapine for Bipolar Disorder and Extreme Mood Swings
I just started taking Seroquel 50mg Tablets for my bipolar disorder. It's been a bit of a journey, and I wanted to share my experience so far. Quetiapine has been a game-changer in managing my mood swings and helping to reduce hallucinations and delusions. However, I've had a few side effects like dizziness and dry mouth, but my doctor reassured me these are common and should subside over time. I'm really hoping it can improve my overall mood and thinking. Has anyone else had a similar experience or any advice for managing the side effects?

I've been taking this for a few years now, and while the side effects were tough at the beginning, they got better over time. It's really helped me stay stable.
I stopped taking it because it made me feel terrible, but that could have been because of the other medications I was taking as well. I switched to Lamictal and it's been a game changer.
I switched to a liquid form, and it worked better for me. More manageable and absorbed better. Talk to your doctor about it if you have trouble swallowing pills.
Don't forget to take it at night—it can make you really drowsy but it also helps with sleep. My mood swings are much better controlled now.
I've noticed a lot of weight gain, and I am just hoping it will go down once I get used to the medication. Have you been able to manage it?
I had some really bad reactions to a generic version I started taking. My body just didn't like it at all. Always check with your doctor before picking a generic.
I had to stop taking it because of the severe dizziness, but everyone's different. Talk to your doctor about it. I switched to another medication and it was smooth sailing after that.
