I've been on bupe for almost two years now. It's definitely helped with the cravings, but I still battle with some of the side effects. I get headaches and occasional dizziness. And yes, sleep apnea can be a problem. As much as I can, I comply with the counseling and it's helped a lot.

I had a friend who was on buprenorphine/naloxone and refused to take the counseling sessions. It’s crucial, you guys. The counseling is just as important as the medication. Without it, I don’t think he would’ve made progress.

I had a rough time with the side effects. I experienced a lot of dizziness and trouble sleeping. I talked to my doctor about it, and he adjusted my dosage. It made a big difference. But I do agree that it’s a lifesaver for managing cravings.

Talk about a rollercoaster. The first few weeks were brutal, but I stuck with it. I had some constellation of breathing problems during sleep, but my doctor said that’s actually kind of rare. I’ve found a lot of relief from the cravings and withdrawal symptoms.

I’ve seen a lot of negative comments about this medication, but it really has been a lifesaver for me. It’s like a new lease on life.
