I've been using Retin-A 0.025% Gel for about a month now, and I'm noticing some improvements in my acne, but the initial purge was brutal. Has anyone else experienced this? Also, how do you all deal with the dryness and irritation? Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated! I'm curious to hear about everyone's experiences with this medication.

I've heard it can also help with fine wrinkles and rough skin, so I'm hoping to see some anti-aging benefits as well. But for now, I'm just trying to get through the first few months without losing my mind from the dryness and irritation.

I’ve been using Retin-A for about six months now, and it’s made a huge difference in my skin. I started with the 0.025% gel and recently moved up to the 0.05% cream. The key for me has been patience and consistent use. I apply it every other night and use a gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer in the morning and evening to keep my skin hydrated. I also make sure to wear sunscreen daily, as Retin-A can make your skin more sensitive to the sun.

It burns and peels and makes your skin red and flaky and you'll look like a lobster.

I switched to Retin-A 0.025% Gel from a different retinol product, and the difference is night and day. I was seeing much better results with the acne and skin texture.

Retin-A has been a game-changer for my acne. I've been using it for about three months, and my skin has never looked better. The initial purge was tough, but it was so worth it. I started with the gel and I’m on my second bottle which is the cream. I found that moisturizing regularly helped with the dryness.

I used Retin-A for a few months and saw no improvement, but I did notice a lot of irritation.

I've had mixed results with Retin-A. It definitely helped with my acne, but the dryness and irritation were tough to deal with. I ended up switching to a lower percentage to see if that helps.

I've been using Retin-A for a while now, and I've noticed that it helps with both my acne and fine wrinkles. I started with the gel and switched to the cream after a few months. I found that the cream was gentler on my skin and caused less irritation.
