I recently started taking Nitazoxanide 500mg Tablets to treat a nasty case of diarrhea caused by Giardia. I've heard mixed reviews about its effectiveness and side effects, so I'm interested to hear from others who have used it. How long did it take for the medication to work? Did you experience any severe side effects, or were they mostly mild? Any tips for managing the side effects would be greatly appreciated. I'm hoping to share my experience and learn from others who have been through the same thing.

Be careful! I had a friend who ended up having a bad allergic reaction. You need to keep an eye on those symptoms.

I had a bit of nausea, but nothing too bad. Just take it with food, and you should be okay. I was really worried about the side effects, but they were manageable for me.

I swear by this medication. It got me through a very rough patch. Really glad because it saved me from a lot of discomfort.

I took Nitazoxanide for Cryptosporidium, and it worked like a charm. I had a bit of stomach pain but nothing unbearable. Just make sure to follow the dosage exactly as prescribed.

I hope your experience is better than mine. I got terrible itching and had to stop taking it. I guess everyone is a little different, but I'll be sticking to other options in the future.

You could consider adding probiotics into your routine. They can help rebalance your gut flora and make the recovery process smoother. Just a thought!

I had a bit of stomach pain and my urine color changed, but it went away after a few days. Stick it out, and you should be fine.

It took me about 3 days to start feeling better. The headache was awful though.

Watch out for the color of your urine. As soon as I noticed it was off, I called my doctor just to be safe. I wasn't sure if it was a side effect or not, but better safe than sorry, right?
