I've recently had Lidocaine 1%/epine:100000 Inj, 50ml for a minor surgery. It numbed the area effectively, but I experienced some side effects that I wasn't expecting. Has anyone else had similar experiences? What should we look out for? The possible side effects range from mild to severe, but it's important to be aware of all possibilities. I'd love to hear from anyone who has insights on managing these side effects or had other unexpected reactions.

I had this for dental work and it worked great! No pain during the procedure, but I did feel a bit jittery afterwards. Is that normal?

I’ve had Lidocaine 1%/epine:100000 Inj, 50ml for some dental work, and my dentist always warns me about the possible side effects. Feeling sleepy and confused is pretty normal and usually wears off, he says.

This stuff can be a lifesaver for dental work! It numbs you up and makes it so you don’t feel a thing. I’ve had it a few times and always walked away with minimal discomfort, no side effects for me. But always good to know about the possible reactions just in case.

I’ve had it a few times for minor surgeries and never had any issues. The numbing effect was great, and I barely felt anything. After the procedure, I just felt a bit of numbness and tingling in the area, but it wore off quickly. My doctor also says it's safe and effective for numbing at the site of injection, as long as it's monitored properly.

I had a really bad reaction to this once. I started feeling really dizzy and my vision was blurry. I had to seek medical help right away. It was scary, but thankfully everything was okay. It’s important to recognize the signs of a severe reaction and act fast.

I'm a nurse and we use this all the time. The epinephrine helps control bleeding and prolongs the numbing effect, but it can cause some people to feel their heart racing or experience anxiety. It's usually not a big deal, but if it's severe, let the doctor know right away.

I've used this a few times for minor surgeries and never had any serious side effects. Just a bit of temporary numbness and tingling, but it went away quickly. Definitely better than feeling the pain! Always make sure to let your doctor know if you have any allergies or concerns before the procedure. It's better to be safe than sorry.

I feel like a lot of people don't realize how serious some of these side effects can be. Has anyone had methemoglobinemia or acidosis? I've heard those can be life-threatening.

I had a procedure and it went fine, but I felt incredibly weak and tired afterwards. I wish I had known that feeling weak or tired could be a side effect. It was a bit unexpected but not too bad.

Fear the tingles! Every time I get this, I get the tingles and shakes. It's weird and feels like being drunk for a bit, but it's worth it to not feel the pain. Always check with your doctor on the side effects
