I've recently been prescribed Pazopanib 200mg Tablets for my renal cell carcinoma. I'm looking to connect with others who have experience with this medication. What should I expect in terms of side effects, and how can I manage them effectively? Also, is there anyone out there who can share their experiences with the drug regarding its efficacy? Feel free to give any helpful tips to make this journey smoother!

It’s incredible how many side effects this drug has. But can anyone share some tips on managing the more minor ones?

I've been dealing with some weight loss and changes in taste. It's pretty rough, but my oncologist suggested some mouthwashes and changed my diet. Also, having small food portions has helped a lot. It's been a small adjustment, but it's been making a huge impact.

For me, the worst part was the fatigue. It hit me like a truck, and I had to take naps during the day. It felt like I was constantly running on fumes.

Anyone else experiencing muscle and bone pain? I have had to take pain medication to cope with it.

I had concerns about the heart-related side effects, so my cardiologist and oncologist monitored me closely. They ran regular EKGs and checked my heart function. So far, so good, but it’s important to get regular check-ups!

Hair loss is one of the side effects that's been affecting me the most. Not sure how I can do anything about it, but I'm trying to stay positive as it’s one of the less serious side effects to have to deal with.

I had a really bad reaction to the drug - severe dizziness and fainting spells. I ended up in the hospital, but it turned out to be a rare reaction to Pazopanib. The doctors stopped the medication and switched me to a different treatment plan.

Be prepared for the skin changes. I have experienced a lot of changes in the color of my skin and hair. It can be quite striking but try to remember that it's usually temporary and can be managed through the right skincare.

I have been on Pazopanib for about a year now, and it's been a bit of a rollercoaster. The first few weeks were tough with nausea and fatigue, but things have settled down a bit. Just be sure to drink plenty of water and eat small, frequent meals. My doctor also recommended taking anti-nausea medication if needed.
