Ipratropium Inhal Soln 60 X 2.5ml is a medication that helps open up the airways in your lungs, making it easier to breathe. It's used for long-term treatment of breathing problems like COPD. Anyone been on it for a while? I'm just starting, curious about the side effects compared to other treatments. I know it's supposed to relax the muscles around your airways, but what's the real world experience like? I remember my doctor mentioning some serious side effects, but I think most people don't experience those. What do I really need to be on the lookout for?

I've been on Ipratropium for about a year now. It's helped a lot with my breathing, but I did have some issues with dry mouth at first. It's not too bad though, worth the trade-off for better breathing.

Talk to your doctor if you get any weird symptoms, but don't overthink it. Most people don't have any serious issues.

Be really careful with the side effects. I had a friend who had a scary allergic reaction. He got hives and had trouble breathing. Thankfully he had a rescue inhaler and called an ambulance right away.

I've been using Ipratropium and my flu-like symptoms have gotten way better even though it’s not specifically targeted to treat those. My doctor’s happy with my progress.

Be sure to rinse your mouth after using the inhaler. It can cause dry mouth and bad taste if you don't.

Anyone else notice changes in eyesight? I've had some eye irritation and I'm not sure if it's related but it's worth paying attention to.

I get nose stuffiness from my Ipratropium inhaler but nothing too bad – less than my allergy meds.
