Pirfenidone 267mg Capsules are commonly prescribed for patients with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF). The medication helps slow down the scarring in the lungs, which can make breathing easier and improve the quality of life for those affected. For those who are prescribed Pirfenidone, managing side effects is crucial. The range of potential side effects varies from mild to severe, and it's essential to recognize when to seek medical attention. I'd love to hear from anyone currently taking this medication or caring for someone who is. How has your experience been? What tips do you have for managing the possible side effects?

Anyone else feel like a walking sunburn? Staying indoors for a week was a nightmare. At least I can go outside now, just with lots of sunscreen.

I had a really rough start with this drug. The sunburn was terrible, and I had to stay indoors for a week. Make sure to use plenty of sunscreen if you're taking this. My doctor also suggested some lifestyle changes to help with my joint pain and overall comfort.

Feeling dizzy and tired all the time hasn't been fun, but I'm glad I'm on this medication. Feeling tired is better than losing lung function.

I'm frustrated with the weight loss and diarrhea side effects, but I know they are better than the alternative. Anyone found useful remedies for managing this?

I feel like the side effects are worth it to slow down the progression of IPF. I’ve had some skin changes and trouble sleeping, but it hasn't been too bad. Just make sure you are always aware of the serious side effects and seek help if you notice them.
