I've been using Hizentra for a few months now to manage my primary immunodeficiency. It's been a game-changer for my immune system, but I've had some side effects that I'm not sure how to handle. Has anyone else experienced issues like irritation at the injection site, dizziness, or headaches? I'd love to hear how you've managed these side effects. Also, are there any tips for dealing with the more serious symptoms, like signs of an allergic reaction or kidney problems? I want to be prepared just in case. Thanks in advance for any advice!

I've had some muscle spasms and joint pain, but my doctor said it could be a side effect. I've been taking some ibuprofen to manage the pain. It's not the worst thing. I'd rather deal with some pain than the constant infections I used to get.

I've had some issues with a common cold. I don't know if it's related to Hizentra. I just take some Benadryl and go to sleep.

I've been on Hizentra for a while and I've had some similar issues. The injection site irritation can be tough, but switching to a different injection site every few days has helped me a lot. Also, make sure to rotate the sites to avoid forming bumps or lumps. Always drink plenty of water and if you get a headache you can take some paracetamol. When it comes to serious symptoms, always trust your instincts and call your doctor if something feels off.

I started Hizentra a few months ago and had a really bad reaction the first time. I broke out in hives and had trouble breathing. I had to go to the ER, but it turned out to be an allergic reaction. It was scary, but I'm glad I got medical help right away. My doctor switched me to a different brand, and it's been fine since then.

I've had some stomach issues like nausea and vomiting, but they've been manageable. I've also had some muscle spasms, which can be annoying, but not too bad. I'm just glad to have something that keeps my immune system in check.

I'm glad I found this thread, I really need someone to talk to about Hizentra. I've been having these headaches right after using it. But I just take some Advil and sit quietly for a bit and it goes away. It's been working so well, no infections at all. I just have to deal with a little headache.

I can't believe anyone is using Hizentra — I had a really bad experience with it and switched to a different medication. It is a really scary experience dealing with side effects like fever, chills, or sore throat. I'm glad I'm doing better now.
