Balversa 4mg Tablets are an FDA-approved treatment for a specific type of bladder cancer with FGFR alterations. My oncologist prescribed it to me, and I'm curious to know if anyone else has taken it and what their experience was like. Balversa works by inhibiting the signals cancer cells need to grow and spread. The list of possible side effects is long, but I've only experienced some of them. The most challenging part has been managing the dry mouth and eyes, but artificial tears and regular sipping of water have helped. I'm really hoping to hear from others who might have more tips or insights to share. I also want to know if anyone has experienced any of the more serious side effects and how they dealt with them.

I can’t believe how many side effects are listed. I’ve been lucky, I only had constipation which I dealt with by increasing my fiber intake.

Balversa was a game-changer for me. I got some bad hair loss, but the occasional mood swings were toughest – but totally manageable. Don’t let the side effects scare you; it’s worth it.

I took Balversa for a while and had to stop because of severe muscle cramps. It was like my muscles were constantly spazzing. The doc said it could be due to electrolyte imbalances. If anyone finds a way to manage it, do share.

I’ve heard some people complain about eye issues. I haven’t had any yet, but I’ve been using artificial tears anyway just to be safe.

Worth a shot if you're eligible for it! But the dry mouth is no joke. I carried a water bottle everywhere and used mouth moisturizing spray whenever I remembered to.

Balversa saved my life. If you’re dealing with the side effects, remember it's worth it. I had a UTI early on which wasn’t fun – blood in the urine was scary. But once I got it under control, things were much better.

I've been on Balversa for a few months now. The worst side effect for me has been hair loss, but I've tried to stay positive. Make sure to keep a good, tight-fitting wig handy.

Anyone else notice changes in their nails? Mine have been super brittle lately, and I’m not sure if it’s related to Balversa or something else.

I wish there was something to combat the dry skin. It’s been really tough. Try using moisturizers that contain petrolatum to keep the skin barrier in check.
