Sharing Experiences with Clinimix 4.25/d10 Inj, 1000ml: IV Nutrition
I've been using Clinimix 4.25/d10 Inj, 1000ml for a few months now, and I'm curious to know if anyone else has experience with this IV nutrition. It's been a game-changer for me, given that gastric issues have made it difficult to eat and digest food normally. I'm interested in hearing about side effects, how it fits in with other treatments, and tips on how to make this process easier. Let's share our experiences and support each other!

My brother has been on Clinimix for his liver problems. He's doing better now. He says it's a huge help in getting the nutrients he needs. Every once in a while he gets a rash, but his doctor says it's normal.
This has been a life saver. I was worried about recovery and how I would get the nutrients I needed. I didn't know nutrition could be given through IV. I guess I learned something, even though I don't really want to.
This thread is making me hungry...Well, I mean the thought of food is making me hungry. But seriously, I am hoping to get off intake through IV eventually. Have any of you been able to recover to a point you no longer needed it?
My friend just started on Clinimix and was having a hard time with the site. Told her to talk to her nurse about switching the arm or leg it is in. Helps a lot some times. Told her to use a heating pad too.
I've never heard of Clinimix. I'm assuming it's a total liquid diet if your body is just getting it through IVs? My doctor always gives me the shakes for nutrition, but that might be because I'm not as sick as some of you?
I've been on Clinimix for a while now, and while the side effects are manageable, I've noticed some injection-site reactions. I had to switch out the nurse a few times because of it, but things are smooth sailing now. Anyone else dealing with the same thing? How can I prevent more irritation?
Has anyone had problems with their blood pressure while on Clinimix? I’m a bit worried because I’ve had some spikes lately,
Clinimix helped me a lot with my Crohn's, but I have to say, the best part is that my friends can no longer bring me bread/cheese platter casserole dishes all the time. I am winning.
I had a bad reaction to Clinimix. I had some allergic reaction and had to get rushed to the ER. If you know someone with a history of allergies. They should be cautious with this one. The doctor just said it was rare, but for me, it was pretty bad.
