I recently started treatment with Dacarbazine 200mg Inj for Hodgkin's lymphoma and wanted to share some of my initial experiences and gather insights from others who may have gone through the same. I've heard a lot about the potential side effects, especially the urgent ones, and can't help but feel a bit anxious. It's tough to know what to expect, but I'm hoping that some of you can offer words of encouragement or practical advice on managing the side effects. Any tips on dealing with nausea or fatigue would be greatly appreciated.

I've been through this treatment before. Best advice? Stay hydrated and listen to your body. If you feel too weak or if your side effects are extreme, speak to your doctor and make sure to get the full picture from them.

I went through a treatment of two cycles. I almost gave up during the third session, but my doctor told me to stay strong.

Just want to add that the side effects can be really hard to deal with. Sometimes, nausea can be so bad that not even the toughest medicine will keep it down. You may also forget this but hair loss is also a factor, so keep a ray of hope.

I have to go through this, and I only wish I had a month to gather myself. Do you know if you can get a second opinion on your treatment plan sometimes?

I can’t believe they still use this stuff. My friend was on it last year and it was brutal.

The first two to three weeks after treatment were the worst. Then it started to get better. It may not be easy but stay positive and you will get through it.

It would be a good time to eat healthy and get a lot of rest to help with recovery.

I struggled with a rash that was so itchy. Doctors can prescribe you something to help with it. Just make sure to call them immediately and whatever you do, don't scratch it. It will make it worse.
