I've been on Depakote for a few years now, and it's been a game-changer for my bipolar disorder. It took a while to find the right dose, but once we did, it's been smooth sailing. I did experience some weight gain initially, but that's stabilized. The drowsiness was a bit of an issue at first, but I adjusted my sleep schedule, and now it's fine.
Has anyone else had memory issues? It's been a bit worrying for me. I forget things more often than I used to, and it's affecting my daily life. I'm trying to keep a journal to track it, but it's still concerning.

I had to stop taking Depakote because of the hair loss. It was devastating, and I wasn’t even expecting it as a side effect. Now I’m trying something else, but it’s been a tough transition.
I haven't had any serious side effects, just some minor stomach issues. I take mine with food, and it seems to help a lot. Also, make sure to stay hydrated; it can help with the dizziness.
