I recently started treatment with Fluorouracil 1gm/20ml Inj 20ml for my cancer, and I'm looking to connect with others who have had similar experiences. I'm curious to know what side effects you've encountered, how you've managed them, and any tips for coping with the treatment. I've been experiencing some fatigue and nausea, and I'd love to hear how others have dealt with these issues. Also, I'm wondering if anyone has had any issues with the administration site reactions, Can't wait to hear from you all!

I had to stop taking it for a while because I kept getting infections. Turns out my immune system was shot. Make sure you’re monitoring for any signs of infection and talk to your doctor about it.

I had a really bad reaction to this and ended up in the ER. Definitely keep an eye out for those serious side effects, like trouble breathing or uncontrolled eye movements. It’s scary but important to be aware.

I experienced some serious side effects with this, including severe nausea and diarrhea. My doc added some anti-nausea meds, and that helped a lot. But yeah, it’s a tough road. Hang in there, everyone!

Hey everyone, just a reminder that everyone’s experience with this med is different. For me, the biggest issue has been mouth sores. I use a special mouthwash and avoid spicy foods to manage them.

Stick with it. I know it’s hard, but it’s working! I had the worst mouth sores and nausea, but it’s all worth it if it beats the cancer.

This stuff is tough, but it’s doing its job. I had some nasty redness and pain around the injection site, but my nurse gave me some great tips to manage it. Ask your healthcare team for advice if you run into any issues!
