I've been prescribed Fluphenazine Decanoate injections for schizophrenia treatment, and I'm curious to know how others are handling their injections. I've heard it helps with consistent treatment but wondering about the side effects and how often I'll need to take it. Has anyone experienced lasting relief? I’d love to hear about your experiences. If you’ve had any serious side effects like severe headaches or vision issues, how did you manage? Let’s also discuss if there are any tips for making the injection process more manageable. Thanks in advance for sharing your stories and advice!

I've had some unusual dreams since starting, but they're nothing I can't handle. Really glad I switched to this—it’s made managing my condition a lot easier. The injection process isn’t bad at all.

I’m curious if anyone has had any success with other medications besides oral options like Fluphenazine if Fluphenazine didn’t work out. My friend had to switch meds a few times before he found one he liked.

Total game-changer for me. I used to have to take meds daily, but now I only have to do the injection every 3-4 weeks. Much easier to manage. The injections themselves are a breeze. I sometimes get a bit of soreness at the injection site, but nothing major.

For the most part, not too bad! I take my injections on a Friday night and sleep through the worst of it. I get vivid dreams sometimes, but it’s worth it to have my schizophrenia symptoms under control.
